Vegan falafel recipe with side dish and sauce

Put the pea balls in the air fryer and fry at 200 degrees for 7-8 minutes without oil

 

Sauce ingredients:

 

  • Olive oil
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 2 pieces
  • Green bell pepper - 1 piece
  • Red bell pepper - 1 piece
  • Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 300-400 ml
  • Salt
  • Chopped red pepper
  • Oregano / or dried basil
  • Fresh coriander

 

Fry the onion in oil, add garlic, finely chopped red and green bell pepper, when it is cooked, add tomato paste, water and bring to a boil, add spices, add the fried pea balls, add coriander and a delicious dish is ready.

 

For the garnish:

 

  • Bulgur - 300 gr
  • Butter - 30 gr
  • Salt
  • Water to cover the bulgur well (a little more)

 

Put the bulgur in a pan and fry, add the butter, pour water when it is absorbed, stir and cover, until

the water has completely evaporated. Add salt to taste.

Serve with the dish.
